Daku Island is one of the absolute jewels of the Philippines Siargao Islands area. With crystal clear water that seems to emit it's own emerald/cyan glow as it ebbs over it's pure white sandy areas. And at the surfing breaks, waves that sometimes look like glowing glass peashooters. Seeming all the more electrical on an evening boat ride, where plankton flies like white hot sparks thru the water in trails of the boat.
Peaceful and quiet, with only the sounds of nature and those you make yourself surrounding you, the solitude is a welcome relief from the normal noise of more crowded and demanding living.
The neutrality of city "colors" being sharply contrasted by the over saturation of blues, greens, and vibrant blooms of nature that is almost having trouble containing itself.
