Anahawan Island is a part of General Luna Municipality on Siargao Island (Cloud 9 International Surfing spot), Surigao del Norte. There are many surfing spots close by for those so inclined. Underwater photography and snorkeling is world class, and much better than the immediate area around the General Luna municipal beaches or Daku or Guyam Islands where so many dead coral formations abound.
There is an attractive rock formation on our beach towards the left side of the property which serves as a guide when approaching from the open water. One photo depicts the owner enjoying the rock, but as some have asked... is the rock pointing to the location of buried treasure on the property?
The lot deed is recorded and tax dec available. As Anahawan Island is less than 500 hectares in surface area, no title is available per Philippine Law. Top of the lot is about 35m above sea level, so safe from tidal surges and most any tsunami. Several building sites are available. Nice for a residence, vacation place, or mini-resort. Very peaceful location with barangay fishing village and elementary school on the other side of the island.
