Better Punctuation

We previously did not allow various symbols in your posts. Things like semicolons, colons, hash marks, apostrophes, and quotation marks were either automatically converted to dashes removed altogether.

We did this because errant symbols sometimes wreak havoc for computer programs, and Ah Yer! Philippines is essentially a computer program.

However, clearly, it was not good from a user's perspective to have, say, "Joe's Houses" become "Joes Houses".

So we tinkered with our system a little bit and put in a bunch of safeguards, and you can now include as many symbols as you want in your posts. Except of course, the greater than, or less than symbols, which are used in HTML.
